نرم افزار آنتى ویروس دكتر وب شامل پنج قسمت عمده به شرح زیر مى باشد:
الف) اسكنر: این برنامه نرم افزارى شامل یك پایگاه داده فوق العاده قوى مى باشد كه الگوریتم چندین ده هزار ویروس شناخته شده در آن وجود دارد كه با روزآمد كردن روزانه نرم افزار این پایگاه داده مرتباً تكمیل و به روز مى گردد.
تجربه نشان داده است كه ویروس سازان بیش از %90 اوقات از الگوریتم ویروسهاى قدیمى استفاده كرده و با اندكى تغییر در آنها ویروس جدید تولید مى نمایند. بدین ترتیب هنگام اسكن یك فایل یا درایو و مقایسه فایل مورد بررسى با پایگاه داده نرم افزار و شاپلون ویروسها ‌(جهت شناسایى ویروس) احتمالاً چون تطبیق 100% الگوریتم در خصوص اینگونه فایلها و اشیاء مشكوك از طرف‌ آنتى‌ویروس مشاهده نمى شود ویروس ‌مذكور ممكن است شناسایى نگردد. به منظور جلوگیرى از این مشكل و به دام افتادن ویروسهاى جدید در آنتى ویروس دكتر وب یك ترمیناتور هوش مصنوعى فوق العاده قوى در نظر گرفته شده است كه با بررسى ساختار ویروس ناشناخته پى به ویروس بودن آن برده و آنرا تحت عنوان شى مشكوك (فایل، نامه ها، ...) معرفى مى نماید. بدین ترتیب اكثر ویروسهاى جدید به دام این ترمیناتور خواهند افتاد. با انتخاب گزینه"Heuristic Analysis" در منوى "Settings" این ترمیناتور هوش مصنوعى فعال مى گردد. لازم به ذكر است در نسخه هاى مجانى و یا غیر مجاز (غیر رجیستر شده) این توانایى یا فعال نمى گردد و یا بسیار ضعیف عمل مى نماید.

ب) محافظ عنكبوتى نرم افزار "SpIDer Guarde" : این قسمت از برنامه هنگام بالا آمدن ویندوز در حافظه موقت كامپیوتر اجرا گردیده و ناظر تمام عملیات انجام شده در كامپیوتر به صورت مستمر خواهد بود. بدین ترتیب چنانچه از طریق پست الكترونیك و یا دریافت یك فایل آلوده از دیسكت یا یك "CD" ویروسى به داخل كامپیوتر راه یابد، ویروس فوق قبل از تخریب داده هاى كامپیوتر توسط این محافظ (كه یك برنامه رزیدنت حافظه است) آشكار شده و از صدمه خوردن كامپیوتر جلوگیرى می نماید و این در حالى است كه فعال نمودن اسكنر ذكر شده در قسمت "الف" بایستى بصورت دستى و توسط كاربر انجام گیرد. محافظ ذكر شده به نام محافظ عنكبوتى مشهور است كه از تكنولوژى جدید و فوق العاده توانمند "Spider Netting" استفاده مىنماید. نصب این محافظ عنكبوتى (كه با نصب "CD" نرم افزار بصورت خودكار روى ویندوز نصب می گردد) كاربر را هنگام كار با كامپیوتر آسوده خاطر می سازد و باعث می گردد كامپیوتر از گزند ویروس در امان نگاه داشته شود.

ج) گارد ایمیل عنكبوتی" SpIDer Mail " : هنگامى كه از طریق برنامه "Outlook Express" نامه‌هاى الكترونیكى دریافت مى‌گردد این گارد فعال شده و كلیه نامه‌هاى دریافتى را قبل از قرار گرفتن در دیسك سخت مورد بررسى ویروسى قرار می دهد. این گارد پورت هاى 110 و یا 25 را نظارت نموده و باعث مى‌گردد ورود ویروس قبل از ذخیره در دیسك سخت حذف گردد. چنانچه نامه‌اى ویروسى باشد نامه مذكور برگشت خورده و به ارسال كننده نامه اطلاع داده مى‌شود: "دریافت كننده نامه ارسالى شما را بعلت وجود ویروس دریافت ننموده است". همچنین نامه دیگرى به صندوق پستى شما وارد می گردد و از ارسال نامه ویروسى به شما و برگشت آن به ارسال كننده نامه خبر می دهد. آدرس ایمیل ارسال كننده نامه براى هر گونه اقدام بعدى نیز در این نامه مشخص گردیده است.

د) برنامه كمكى روز آمد كننده : این برنامه وظیفه روز آمد كردن مخزن ویروس و به روز كردن آخرین نسخه نرم افزار را به عهده دارد. با انتخاب دگمه "Update " روى صفحه اسكنر نرم افزار دكتر وب، مخزن ویروس از طریق اینترنت با شناسه و كلمه عبور كه هنگام خرید نرم افزار به كاربر داده می شود روزآمد مى‌گردد. در یك شبكه "LAN" مى‌توان برنامه روزآمد كننده را بگونه‌اى تنظیم نمود كه تنها یك رایانه كه اصطلاحاً رایانه مبداً نامیده مى‌شود از طریق اینترنت روزانه روزآمد گردد. و بقیه رایانه‌ ها در شبكه از روى این رایانه مبداً خود را روزآمد نمایند.

ﮬ) برنامه كمكى زمانبندى كننده، به كمك این برنامه جانبى می توان هم برنامه اسكنر را در زمانهاى بخصوصى فعال نمود و هم روز آمد كردن مخزن ویروس را از طریق اینترنت بصورت خودكار انجام داد.

Nullsoft Winamp نرم افزار سریع، راحت و کاربر پسند پخش صوت در ویندوز میباشد. که علاوه بر پخش mp3 توانایی پخش فایل های صوتی (OGG, AAC, WAV,MOD, XM, S3M, IT, MIDI, etc)  فایل های تصویری (AVI, ASF, MPEG, NSV) را نیز دارا میباشد. از قابلیت های Winamp سری پنج میتوان به سازگاری با Winamp 2 Plug-ins ، پشتیبانی از پوسته های Winamp 1.x/2.x و پوسته های Winamp 3، رقص نور های جذاب، کتابخانه فایل های صوتی، پشتیبانی از رادیو و تلویزیون اینترنتی، تبدیل سی دی های صوتی به mp3 و رایت سی دی اشاره کرد.

كلیدهای میانبر نرم افزار Winamp
L: باز شدن پنجره Open files برای وارد کردن سریع یک فایل
Shift + L: باز شدن پنجره Open Folder برای وارد کردن محتویات یک پوشه
Ctrl + P: باز شدن قسمت تنظیمات برنامه ( Perferences )
